A child that has not given up and has braved all the barriers and tests that poverty has put in front of him to conclude a high school education, merits the support of ANS-TCF, to continue the process till eventually graduating from college.
We extend a helping hand to girls that work making tortillas, making piñatas, girls from single-parent homes who have shown the discipline and will to succeed and who continue to help their family in these businesses, because if not they would neither eat nor get an education.
We provide support to the youth investing in them by supplying schoolbooks, school supplies, and material they need in college.
Young adults of both sexes not only live in poverty but are surrounded by friends and family groups that in many cases do not understand the value of education. Many families want a son or daughter to be employed and bring food into the family. One that is in school is usually considered as another mouth to feed.
ANS-TCF, values the sacrifice of these young persons, who in many cases finished their education against all odds but also at the top of the class.
Children from communities where they needed to walk 4-5 miles to get to the nearest high school in a country with a defined 5- to 6-month rainy season.
Some girls work making tortillas and piñatas to help their families, girls from single-parent homes, and young single mothers that keep chasing higher education despite everything.
Contribute to the health and education of children and families who would otherwise stay chained to an endless a cycle of poverty.
